Redhawks Remain in Tennessee to Face UT Martin
• Southeast Missouri visits UT Martin Saturday. Tip-off is set for 3:30 p.m., CT at the Elam Center.
• SEMO is on the road for the second time in Ohio Valley Conference play on the back end of its Tennessee trip. The Redhawks beat Tennessee State, 67-65, Thursday.
• SEMO is 2-5 outside of Cape Girardeau this year, including a 2-4 record in true road games.
• The Redhawks road wins came at Central Arkansas (Nov. 21) and at Tennessee State (Jan. 2).
• The Redhawks handed Tennessee State its OVC high 10th loss of the season.
Series Notes
• Southeast Missouri and UT Martin, schools located less than two hours apart, hook up for the 91st time Saturday.
• SEMO leads the all-time series by a count of 51-39.
• The Skyhawks won eight of the last nine meetings between the teams and are 30-13 against the Redhawks at the Elam Center.
• SEMO looks to snap a six-game losing streak in Martin, Tennessee. The Redhawks last beat the Skyhawks at the Elam Center on Feb. 10, 2018 (81-77 OT).

Redhawk Start OVC Play at 3-0
• For the first time since 2011-12, Southeast Missouri is off to a 3-0 start in Ohio Valley Conference play.
• Southeast Missouri beat Eastern Illinois (79-72, Dec. 19) and SIU Edwardsville (80-64, Dec. 21) at home, and Tennessee State (67-65, Jan. 2) on the road for its three OVC wins.
• SEMO's 3-0 conference start is the best under Head Coach Brad Korn.
• A win over UT Martin Saturday would give the Redhawks their first 4-0 conference start since 2010-11.
• That year, SEMO opened OVC action with road wins at Jacksonville State (76-67) and Tennessee Tech (77-75) and home victories over UT Martin (82-75) and Eastern Illinois (78-75).
• The Redhawks are on a four-game OVC winning streak dating back to last year's season-ending 70-66 victory at Southern Indiana.
Heating Up
• Southeast Missouri won six of its last eight games and brings a five-game winning streak to UT Martin Saturday.

Milestone Win
• Brad Korn picked up his 60th career win as head coach when Southeast Missouri beat Westminster, 88-39, on Dec. 29.
• Korn, who is in his fifth year at SEMO, has an overall record of 61-79 and 34-42 in Ohio Valley Conference games.
• Korn's 61 wins are fourth-most among SEMO's head coaches during the NCAA Division I era behind Gary Garner (126), Dickey Nutt (80) and Ron Shumate (71).
• SEMO's 67-65 win over Tennessee State (Jan. 1) was Korn's 140th game as a head coach.
Five-Game Winning Streak
• Southeast Missouri's current five-game winning streak is the Redhawks longest since 2014-15.
• SEMO won five of its last six games that season which ended with an 84-76 loss to Eastern Kentucky at the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament.
• A win Saturday will give the Redhawks their longest winning streak since the 2004-05 campaign when they won seven in a row under Head Coach Gary Garner.
Redhawks Edge Tennessee State
• Southeast Missouri earned its first Ohio Valley Conference road win with a 67-65 victory in a gritty performance at Tennessee State (Jan. 2).
• In a physical game that featured 10 ties and 10 lead changes, SEMO made six free throws in the final 2:44 to come away with the two-point win.
• Teddy Washington, Jr. paved the way with 11 points, a season-high seven steals and made a big free throw with seven seconds left to seal the victory.
• SEMO beat TSU for the seventh time in 10 meetings between the teams.
• The Redhawks limited the Tigers to just 65 points after entering Thursday's matchup as the Ohio Valley Conference's top scoring team (80.1 ppg).
First Win in 2025
• The Redhawks started the 2025 calendar year with a 67-65 road win at Tennessee State (Jan. 2).
• Southeast Missouri improved to 3-2 in its first game of the New Year with Brad Korn as head coach.
• It was the first time SEMO began a New Year with a road win under Korn.
About UT Martin
• UT Martin suffered a crushing 57-56 loss to preseason Ohio Valley Conference favorite Little Rock in its Ohio Valley Conference home-opener Thursday.
• UTM led for nearly 37 minutes in the game, but LR made a go-ahead floater with two seconds left to get the win.
• As a team, the Skyhawks rank second in the OVC in scoring offense (76.7 ppg), second in field goal percentage defense (.399) and second in 3-point field goals made (138).
• Josue Grullon stands fifth in the league in scoring with 17 points per game. Grullon leads the OVC with 48 three-pointers made.
• The Skyhawks are under the direction of first-year Head Coach Jeremy Shulman.

• In Ohio Valley Conference games, Southeast Missouri leads the league in scoring offense (75.3 ppg), field goal percentage (.482) and assist/turnover ratio (1.26).
• Overall, SEMO tops the OVC in 3-point field goal percentage defense (.259) and scoring margin (+7.3).
