SHREVEPORT, La. – Southeast Missouri Gymnastics won the Centenary Tri-Meet with an overall score of 192.325 on Monday afternoon from the Gold Dome.
The Gymhawks took first place over West Chester (189.725) who finished second, and Centenary (185.325) who finished third.
Junior
Taylor Ingle finished first in the all-around for the second-straight meet with a 38.225 edging Sophie Schmitz of Centenary with a 38.025 for the top spot. Ingle finished first on the vault (9.850), 16
th on the bars (8.750), first on the floor (9.825), and tied for first with teammate
Leah Parton (9.800) on the beam.
The Gymahwks recorded five season-highs on the beam as spots two-through-six all recorded their season best. Sophomore
Jaidan Kossuth took third place (9.775) on the beam to put three Redhawks on the podium for the beam rotation.
SEMO took all three places on the vault led by Ingle, followed by
Janelle Lopez (9.750) in second, and
Joselene Hernandez (9.725) in third.
Sophomore
Ava Johnston placed second overall on the bars rotation. Johnston recorded a 9.700 from the second spot of the lineup.
Bars
The Redhawks began the afternoon on the bars as
Kailyn Hamilton got the rotation started with a 9.525. Overall, the Gymhawks wrapped up the first rotation with a 46.800.
Sophomore
Ava Johnston led the rotation with a 9.700 in spot two, marking her second-straight meet in the bars lineup for the Gymhawks.
Senior
Janelle Lopez recorded a 9.500 in spot five of the lineup to round out the top three scorers of the bars rotation.
Beam
The Gymhawks exploded on the beam in rotation two recording their highest team score of the afternoon with a 48.650.
Ailey Kuehn recorded a 9.550 in spot one before five-straight Gymhawks recorded a season-high on the beam.
Sophomore
Jaidan Kossuth recorded her highest score of the season with a 9.775 on the beam in spot two of the lineup. Fellow newcomer
Leah Parton tied for the lead amongst the Gymhawks in spot three with a 9.800 for her SEMO career high.
Janelle Lopez (9.675),
Taylor Ingle (9.800), and
Joselene Hernandez (9.600) wrapped up the rotation in spots four, five, and six to send the Gymhawks to the floor for rotation three.
Floor
Taylor Ingle led the Gymhawks on the floor in rotation three anchoring the lineup with a 9.826 as SEMO recorded a 48.475 as a team.
Freshman
Joselene Hernandez go the rotation going with a 9.625 in spot one for the Gymhawks. Freshman
Anna Lee Phillips and junior
Kailyn Hamilton followed suit with a 9.050 and a 9.650, respectively.
Four, five, and six in
Sydney Crouch,
Madison Greene, and
Taylor Ingle rounded out the lineup with a 9.675, 9.700, and a 9.825, respectively, to send the Gymhawks to the vault for the final rotation of the afternoon.
Vault
The Gymhawks concluded the vault with a 48.400 led by Ingle who finished with her second-straight 9.850 on vault from the fifth spot in the rotation.
Senior
Janelle Lopez followed closely behind as she recorded a 9.750 in the sixth and final spot of the rotation.
Joselene Hernandez continued her solid day, recording a 9.725 for the third highest score on the rotation in spot number three.
Seniors
Madison Greene and
Nyah Reader started the rotation in spots one and two, respectively. Greene recorded a 9.450 with Reader scoring a 9.500.
Junior
Ailey Kuehn continued her strong season on the vault, recording a 9.575 in the fourth spot of the rotation.
