2025 Softball Schedule is Complete

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri will play a 43-game schedule with 13 contests at the Southeast Softball Complex this upcoming spring.

SEMO will compete in three tournaments and be away from Cape Girardeau for its first 14 matchups in 2025.

The Redhawks take the field in less than a month with four games at the Troy University Cardinal Clash. There, SEMO faces host Troy (Feb. 13) in its opener before taking on both Western Kentucky (Feb. 14) and Alabama State (Feb. 14 & Feb. 15).

After that, SEMO travels to the Chattanooga Frost Classic, where it will meet Lamar (Feb. 21), Indiana State (Feb. 21 & Feb. 23), Illinois State (Feb. 22) and Chattanooga (Feb. 22). Last year, Chattanooga went 42-16 overall, won the Southern Conference title and advanced to the NCAA Tournament.

The following week, the Redhawks wrap up tournament play at the Best on the Bayou Tournament in Monroe, Louisiana. SEMO will play Memphis (Feb. 28), UL Monroe (Feb. 28 & Mar. 1) and Tarleton State (Mar. 1 & Mar. 2) at the four-team event.

SEMO's other non-conference games include a midweek trip to Central Arkansas (Mar. 11) and a home midweek tilt against former OVC and current Missouri Valley Conference member Murray State (Apr. 30).

SEMO, which won the Ohio Valley Conference Tournament crown and represented the OVC in the NCAA Tournament last season, starts its 27-game league schedule at home against UT Martin (Mar. 8-9). SIU Edwardsville (Mar. 22-23), Morehead State (Apr. 12-13) and Southern Indiana (Apr. 26-27) will also come to Cape Girardeau for three-game series this season.

The Redhawks visit Western Illinois (Mar. 15-16), Eastern Illinois (Mar. 29-30), Lindenwood (Apr. 5-6), Tennessee Tech (Apr. 18-19) and Tennessee State (May 3-4) during the road portion of OVC action.

This year's eight-team OVC Tournament will be contested at the Louisville Slugger Sports Complex in Peoria, Illinois from May 7-10. The 2025 campaign marks the second-straight year the event will be held in Peoria.

SEMO, which was the #2 seed, won last year's tournament earning its seventh OVC Tournament title in program history.
