Tennis Sweeps OVC Weekly Awards for Fourth Time this Season

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Southeast Missouri Tennis sweeps the OVC Weekly Tennis Awards for the fourth time this season. Juliette Talieu won OVC Women's Tennis Player of the Week and joined Daniela Hlacikova for OVC Women's Doubles Team of the Week.
This is Talieu's second time winning Player of the week this year. This past week Talieu went 2-0 at the No. 3 singles position with a 6-2, 6-3 win over Western Illinois's Agatha Carbonell and had a dominating 6-0, 6-0 win over Yana Gaskell from Lindenwood.
The Graduate now has an 8-2 singles record this year.
The No. 1 doubles pair of Hlacikova and Talieu claimed their third OVC Doubles Team of the Week accolade. Hlacikova and Talieu beat Western Illinois 6-0 and defeated Lindenwood 6-1. The pair boast a team best doubles record of 9-1.
SEMO has won six OVC Player of the Week awards and four OVC Doubles Team of the Week laurels so far.
