Softball Signs Nine Players

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri softball signed nine players Thursday. Nadia Anderson (INF/OF), Lilly Blagoue (INF), Lily Delmain (C/INF), Jazmine Manau (OF), Lesleigh Maynard (INF/OF), Sydney Miles (INF), Jaylie Walther (OF) and Kaylyn Yamnitz (OF) will join the Redhawks in 2025-26, while Madison Winkler (OF) will be eligible this spring.
A native of Matherville, Illinois, Anderson was a four-year starter at Sherrard High School. She played shortstop and center field and was a two-time Second-Team All-State and four-time All-Conference selection. Anderson was also a member of the cross country and wrestling teams and played with the Heartland Havoc travel team.
Blagoue, from Salem, Illinois, attended Salem High School, where she started the last three years as an infielder. For her career, she is hitting .413 with 26 doubles, two triples, 38 home runs, a .537 on-base percentage and .922 slugging percentage. Blagoue broke her own single-season home run record with 17 during her junior campaign, which saw her hit .402. She garnered All-Conference and All-State accolades and won her team's Most Valuable Player and Best Offensive Player awards each of the last three seasons. Blagoue played club softball for Unity-Slezak and will take the field for her final prep season this spring.
Delmain, who hails from Cedar Hill, Missouri, finished her career at Eureka High School as a First-Team, All-Conference, All-District and All-Region pick. She hit .500 with 11 doubles, two triples and two home runs as a senior. Delmain spent her time with St. Louis Chaos 18U Gentile on the club circuit.
A native of Manteno, Illinois, Manau earned All-Conference honors as both a sophomore and junior. Last season, she hit .388 with 38 runs scored and 23 RBI. As a sophomore, Manau boasted a .536 batting average and accumulated 25 RBI. She claimed All-Area and All-State honors that year, as well. Manau will play her senior season this spring and was part of the Premier Fastpitch summer league team.
Maynard, out of New Bedford, Illinois, was a unanimous First-Team All-Conference honoree at BUREAU Valley High School as a junior. She finished with the highest batting average (.483) in the state en route to Second-Team Class 2A All-State accolades. Maynard garnered Second-Team All-Conference laurels after hitting .576 with 18 stolen bases, again getting the highest batting average in the state her sophomore season. She also played volleyball and basketball and was with the Peoria Sluggers Fastpitch team in the summer. Maynard, too, wraps up her high school career this spring.
Miles comes to SEMO from Park Hills Central R-3 and is a native of Park Hills, Missouri. A four-year starting infielder, she is hitting .564 in her career with one season left this spring. As a junior, Miles hit .605 with 45 runs scored, seven home runs and 30 RBI en route to All-Conference, All-District, All-Region and All-State accolades. She has hit over .500 and earned All-Conference, All-District, All-Region and All-State honors every year of her career. Miles was also an All-Conference and All-District pick in basketball and is teammates with Blagoue on the Unity-Slezak travel team.
Walther, from nearby Jackson, started four years at Jackson High School. She hit .353 for her career and broke the school record in fielding percentage (.989) as a senior. Walther won her team's Defensive Player of the Year and Hustle awards and was both a Second-Team All-Conference and All-District selection her final season. As a junior, she was a First-Team All-Conference and All-District pick. Additionally, Walther was named Academic All-State all four of her high school seasons. She played with the Midwest Grit summer league team, as well.
Winkler transfers to SEMO from Atlantic Coast Conference member Louisville, where she spent the last two years. She played in 48 games and made three starts for the Cardinals in the outfield during that time. As a sophomore last season, Winkler tallied nine runs, went 5-for-6 in stolen bases and was named to the All-ACC Academic Team and Honor Roll. Prior to Louisville, she played for Christian County High School and the Louisville Lady Sluggers. Winkler was named All-Region, All-State Honorable Mention and was a two-time All-District honoree as a prep. She set a school record with 45-of-48 stolen bases and was a two-time Extra Innings All-American.
A native of Pevely, Missouri, Yamnitz started three years as an outfielder at Herculaneum High School. She was a three-time First-Team All-Conference and All-District pick. Yamnitz hit .573 with 85 hits, 73 runs scored, 37 walks and 69 stolen bases in her career. As a senior, she registered a .463 batting average with 21 runs scored and 18 stolen bases. Yamnitz garnered additional experience at the club level with Aces Fastpitch, St. Louis Chaos and Defiance Elite squads.
