Redhawks Welcome Kansas City
•   Southeast Missouri hosts Summit League member Kansas City over the Thanksgiving weekend Saturday. Tip-off is set for 7:30 p.m., CT at the Show Me Center Saturday.
•   Saturday marks the third home game for the Redhawks this season.
•   SEMO faces KC on the final day of November coming off a eight-day layoff.
•   The Redhawks were last in action for two games in Conway, Arkanasas. SEMO split those contests beating Central Arkansas (Nov. 21) and falling to UNC Asheville (Nov. 22).
•   SEMO defeated KC the last two times it came to Cape Girardeau in 2015-16 and 2022-23.                                                                                                                      Â
Series Notes
•   Saturday marks the 14th meeting between Southeast Missouri and Kansas City.
•   SEMO holds a 9-4 lead in the all-time series.
•   The Redhawks beat the Roos in four of the last six matchups.
•   KC, however, won last year's meeting by a score of 74-44 in Kansas City on Nov. 30, 2023.
•   The Roos return the trip to Cape Girardeau on the backend of a home-and-home series.
•   This will be the seventh time KC plays at the Show Me Center. The Roos are 3-3 against the Redhawks in Cape Girardeau.
3-Pointer Streak
•   The Redhawks have made at least one 3-pointer in 495 consecutive games.

Arkansas Rewind
•   The Redhawks were last in action for two games as part of the Central Arkansas Classic Nov. 21-22.
•   Southeast Missouri picked up its first win over a NCAA Division I opponent this season with a 77-73 overtime win over Central Arkansas (Nov. 21).
•   SEMO matched a season-high with 12 three-pointers against the Bears.
•   BJ Ward scored 19 points and nailed a big 3-pointer in the closing minute of overtime to seal the victory.
•   A day later, SEMO dropped a 72-64 decision in its first-ever meeting with UNC Asheville.
•   The Redhawks shot a season-low 34.9 percent (22-of-63) from the field against the Bulldogs.
Washington, Jr. Heating Up
•   Newcomer Teddy Washington, Jr. has scored double figures in five-straight games.
•   Washington, Jr. went over 20 points for the first time this season when he finished with 25 against Chattanooga (Nov. 17).
•   He turned in a double-double in back-to-back starts with 18 points and 12 rebounds vs. Crowley's Ridge (Nov. 13) and 25 points and 10 boards against Chattanooga (Nov. 17).
•   Washington, Jr. followed that up with 19 points at Central Arkansas (Nov. 21) and 15 vs. UNC Asheville (Nov. 22).
•   Washington, Jr. is Southeast Missouri's leading scorer with 16.7 points per game and tops the Redhawks with 7.5 rebounds per contest and nine steals.
Martin Pours it On
•   For the first time this season, point guard Rob Martin reached double figures in the scoring column.Â
•   Martin tied a career-high 29 points to lead Southeast Missouri against Chattanooga (Nov. 17).
•   It was the 20th double-digit game of his career and fourth game with 20 or more points.Â
•   Martin scored double figures in each of his last three starts and is SEMO's third-leading scorer with 12.5 points per game.
Double-Digit Threes
•   Southeast Missouri made 11 or more 3-pointers in a game three times this year.
•   SEMO drained a season-high 12 threes at Vanderbilt (Nov. 10) and followed that up with 11 three days later vs. Crowley's Ridge College (Nov. 13). Most recently, the Redhawks had 12 three-pointers at Central Arkansas (Nov. 21).
•   The Redhawks are second in the Ohio Valley Conference with 8.67 three-pointers made per game through six contests.
•   BJ Ward (17), TJ Biel (7), Damarion Walkup (9) and Teddy Washington, Jr. (11) have combined for 44 of SEMO's 52 made threes.
•   In 2023-24, SEMO made 10 or more 3-pointers just four times in 31 games. The Redhawks are already halfway to that mark in only three contests.
Korn at the Show Me Center
•   Brad Korn finished with a winning record at home each of his first four years as Southeast Missouri's head coach.
•   Korn is 33-223all-time at the Show Me Center.
•   The Redhawks went 7-6 (2020-21), 8-5 (2021-22), 9-4 (2022-23) and 8-7 (2023-24) at home since Korn took over as head coach.
•   SEMO is 1-1 in Cape Girardeau this year.
Lowndes Cracks Starting Five
•   John A. Logan College transfer Elliot Lowndes started each of Southeast Missouri's last two games.
•   Lowndes grabbed eight rebounds in 15 minutes during his first career NCAA Division I start at Central Arkansas (Nov. 21).
•   The next day, he scored five points and had four boards vs. UNC Asheville (Nov. 22).
•   So far, SEMO has used three different starting lineup combinations through six games.
Ward Starts Strong
•   BJ Ward is off to a nice start this 2024-25 season after scoring double figures in all six games..
•   Ward was in the starting lineup the last five contests.
•   He began the year with 17 points off the bench at Bradley (Nov. 4) and followed that up with a career-high 22 in his first start of the season at Vanderbilt (Nov. 10). Three days later, Ward registered 11 points and 10 rebounds for his first career double-double vs. Crowley's Ridge College (Nov. 13). He scored 13 vs. Chattanooga (Nov. 17), 19 at Central Arkansas (Nov. 21) and 10 vs. UNC Asheville (Nov. 22).
•   Ward's six-game double-digit scoring streak is the longest of his career.
•   He ranks second on the team in scoring with 15.3 points per game.
•   He is shooting an Ohio Valley Conference best 51.5 percent (17-of-33) from 3-point range.
•   Ward knocked down a career-best six 3-pointers against the Commodores.
