HOUCK FIELD HOUSE - Southeast Missouri Gymnastics defeated Midwest Independent Conference member Centenary College, 192.350 to 181.325, in their home opener Friday night inside Houck Field House.
Lydia Webb placed first in the all-around category with a total score of 38.025. Webb led the Redhawks on the beam and placed in the top three twice.
The Redhawks recorded a rotation high on the vault in the first rotation of the evening with a score of 48.525. They rounded out the meet with a 48.325 on the uneven bars, 47.775 on the beam, and 47.725 from the floor.
Vault
The Redhawks began their home opener on the vault with freshman
Jordan Napolitano. She started the Gymhawks off with a 9.65.
Madison Greene posted a season high 9.80 and team high in the fifth spot in the Redhawks rotation.
Ailey Kuehn notched a season high 9.675 from the second spot.
Third and fourth vaulters
Lydia Webb and
Janelle Lopez scored a 9.675 and 9.725, respectively.
Junior Lindsey Ockler rounded out the vault for the Redhawks with a 9.25 to send them to the Bars for rotation two.
The Gymhawks finished with a season high in the vault, totaling 48.525 points.
Bars
Defending 2023 MIC Bars Champion,
Lindsay Ockler posted a team high and new season high on the uneven bars with a 9.900, scoring the first 9.900 of the season for the Redhawks.
Sophomores
Kailyn Hamilton and
Taylor Ingle registered new season highs with scores of 9.725 and 9.625 from the third and second rotations.
Freshman
Ava Johnston led off the rotation for SEMO with a 9.550 to get SEMO off and running in the second rotation.
Janelle Lopez and
Lydia Webb registered a score of 9.45 and 9.525 from the fourth and fifth spot, respectively.
SEMO finished with another season high on the bar rotation midway through the meet, posting a score of 48.325.
Beam
Senior
Lydia Webb went last in the rotation but ranked the highest for the Redhawks, scoring a 9.80 and a new season high.
Jordan Napolitano and
Taylor Ingle rounded out SEMO's top three performers with scores of 9.725 and 9.65. Napolitano notches a new season high.
Anna Chodon went first in the beam rotation for SEMO scoring a strong 9.275.
Junior
Madison Greene records another new season high on the beam when she finished with a 9.325 from fourth spot in the rotation.
At the end of their third rotation SEMO lead by 8.925 with 144.625 total points.
Floor
Madison Greene led another rotation for the Gymhawks. From the sixth rotation spot Greene scored a 9.85 for her third new season high of the night.
Another Season High for the sophomore
Kailyn Hamilton as she scores 9.675 tying her
Taylor Ingle with the same score from the third and fourth rotations.
Sophomore
Sydney Crouch chalked up a new season high in her lone event from the first rotation for SEMO, scoring a 9.50.

The Gymhawks will travel to Lebanon, Tenn. for the Tennessee Collegiate Classic Friday, Jan. 19. Competition is slated to begin at 7 p.m., CT.
