Redhawks Continue OVC Play Against Little Rock Saturday-Sunday
Southeast Missouri (13-14, 2-1 OVC) will return to Ohio Valley Conference action hosting Little Rock (13-8, 3-0 OVC) in the home opening conference series at Capaha Field.Â

Due to inclement weather, the series has been pushed to a doubleheader on Saturday, April 1, beginning at 1 p.m., CT. Sunday's contest will remain at the regularly scheduled 1 p.m., CT. start time.Â

The Redhawks and Trojans will face off for the first time on the diamond over the weekend as Little Rock makes their first trip to Capaha Field as a member of the Ohio Valley Conference.Â

The weekend series will also mark the first time that Little Rock has played in the Show-Me State in 2023.Â

The Redhawks used a five run first inning to defeat Evansville (16-8, 3-0 MVC) on Wednesday evening by a final score of 10-4.Â

Leeper hit his third home run of the season in the third inning. A two-run blast over the right field fence gave SEMO a 7-1 advantage.Â

Two runs in the eighth and a run in the ninth gave SEMO 10 runs to hold on for a 10-4 win to hand Evansville its second loss at German American Bank Field on the season.Â

Eddie White had a nice day out of the bullpen. The right-hander relieved Osborne and pitched three complete innings, striking out two over 40 pitches. He surrendered just three hits.Â

Peyton Leeper led the Rehdawks offense going 2-for-5 with three RBIs and a pair of runs scored.Â

Chance Resetich and
Brett Graber each registered a pair of hits and RBIs as the Redhawks had five different hitters record an RBI.Â
