MURFREESBORO, Tenn. - Southeast Missouri (10-7) dropped a 3-0 decision to Middle Tennessee (19-6) in its first midweek game of the season Wednesday.
SEMOÂ finished with four hits, three of which were singles.
MTSU scored once in the first, third and sixth innings to get its 19th win of the year.
Anyce Harvey delivered a RBI-single to score the first run of the game in the bottom of the first.Â
Two innings later, Harvey knocked in another run, this time on a two-out double down the right field line.
A solo home run by Julia Garcia finished off the scoring in the sixth inning.
The Redhawks went 0-for-5 with runners in scoring position and stranded six runners on base for the game.

Marissa Peek and
Karsyn Davis each had a hit for SEMO.Â
Paytience Holman (1-4) took the loss in the circle working three innings with five hits and two runs allowed. Holman also had one strikeout.
Kamryn Carcich (3-1) went the distance for the Blue Raiders. Carcich scattered just four hits, struck out four and walked two in seven frames.
MTSU collected seven hits.
SEMO remains on the road to face Tennessee State in a three-game Ohio Valley Conference series this weekend.
