CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri Head Football Coach
Tom Matukewicz announced the launch of a SEMO Football Alumni Network Wednesday.
The SEMO Football Alumni Network has been created in conjunction with the University celebrating its 150th Anniversary this year. Its goal is to keep alumni constantly informed about what's going on in the Redhawk football program both on and off the field. Quarterly updates about the football program and its student-athletes will be provided to all members.
The Network is open to any former players, coaches and support staff such as athletic trainers and managers. Membership free for all participants.
"With SEMO celebrating its 150
th Anniversary, I feel like this is an excellent opportunity to reach out and encourage our alumni to stay connected with everything going on in our football program," said Matukewicz.
Two events will be hosted by the SEMO Football Alumni Network each year. In 2023, these special events will take place during the weekend of the Spring Football Game (Apr. 21-22) and re-opening of Houck Field (Sept. 8-9). Additional details will be released at a later time.
Offensive Line Coach and SEMO football alum
Lucas Orchard will serve as the Alumni Coordinator of the football staff.
