Redhawks Host Harris-Stowe
Southeast Missouri (2-6) remains home to host NAIA affiliate Harris-Stowe (3-10) Wednesday. Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m., CT at the Show Me Center.

Happy Holidays
Wednesday's game features the annual Happy Slapowitz Teddy Bear Toss at halftime. Proceeds will benefit Toys for Tots. There will also be holiday activities, photos with Santa and more.

Series History
Southeast Missouri is 7-0 all-time against Harris-Stowe. Harris-Stowe is the second American Midwest Conference school SEMO faces this season. The Redhawks last met the Hornets on Dec. 27, 2015 (W, 94-84). SEMO is 6-0 against Harris-Stowe at the Show Me Center.

Dominating the Hornets
The Redhawks have dominated their series against Harris-Stowe. Southeast Missouri beat the Hornets by double figures in all seven matchups scoring 94 or more in each of those contests. SEMO scored over 100 points on four occasions in the series and beat HSSU by 54 (110-56), 68 (126-58), 78 (127-49) and 56 (113-57) points in those meetings.

Against Non-Division I
The Redhawks are on a 34-game winning streak against non-Division I foes. Harris-Stowe is the second of four such teams on Southeast Missouri's 2023-24 schedule. SEMO will also host Lindsey Wilson (NAIA) on Dec. 17 and Bethel (Tenn.) (NAIA) on Jan. 6.

Korn vs. Non-Division I
Brad Korn is 5-0 all-time against non- Division I teams as a head coach. Korn is 2-0 vs. Missouri Baptist, 1-0 vs. William Woods, 1-0 vs. Webster and 1-0 vs. Lyon College.

Second-Straight Home Win
The Redhawks ended a three-game losing streak with their second- straight home win, an 84-56 victory over Missouri Baptist (Dec. 3). Southeast Missouri improved to 2-1 at the Show Me Center this season.

Smart Goes for Season-High
Aquan Smart scored double figures for the second game in a row when he finished with a season-best 19 points vs. Missouri Baptist (Dec. 3). Smart shot 4-of-9 from the field and made a near-perfect 9-of-10 free throws. He also had five assists and three rebounds in 28 minutes. Smart is SEMO's second-leading scorer with 8.1 points a game.

Free Throw Margin
Southeast Missouri outscored Missouri Baptist, 26-6, at the free throw line. SEMO's +20 free throw margin is its largest in a game under Head Coach Brad Korn. The Redhawks shot a season-high 78.8 percent (26-of-33) at the charity stripe against the Spartans.

Wire-to-Wire
The Redhawks led from start to finish for the first time this season in their 84-56 win over Missouri Baptist (Dec. 3). Southeast Missouri scored a season-high 84 points in its largest victory in 2023-24 thus far.

New Career-High for Larson
Adam Larson scored 10 of his 15 points at the free throw line against Missouri Baptist (Dec. 3). Larson hit a career-high 10-of-12 free throws. He is the first Redhawk to make 10 free throws in a game this season.

Four See Doubles
A season-high four Southeast Missouri players reached double figures in the scoring column against Missouri Baptist (Dec. 3). Aquan Smart paved the way with 19 points, while Adam Larson followed with 15, Rob Martin had a season-high 12 and TJ Biel chipped in 11 off the bench.

Larson Leads the Way
Adam Larson is the Redhawks top scorer with 10.4 points per game through eight contests. Larson scored a career-high 22 points and made a career-best six 3-pointers vs. Evansville (Nov. 25). A day later, he led the Redhawks with 13 points and hit four more threes at Chattanooga (Nov. 26). Larson started five-straight games and scored double figures on five occasions.

3-Point Threat
Adam Larson ranks second in the Ohio Valley Conference in 3-point field goal percentage. Larson is shooting 46.2 percent on 18-of-39 from beyond the arc. He made 10 of those 3-pointers in two games at the Coke Zero Sugar Classic (Nov. 25-26). Larson buried a career-high six treys vs. Evansville (Nov. 25), falling just three shy of tying his program's single-game record in made threes. Larson drained three or more 3-pointers in four games this season. He also ranks seventh among league leaders in 3-pointers made.

Ward Second in OVC in Assist/Turnover Ratio
BJ Ward ranks second in the Ohio Valley Conference in assist/turnover ratio through eight games this year. Ward has turned the ball over just eight times and has 21 assists for a 2.6 ratio. He went turnover free in three games, as well.

Turnovers Decrease
Southeast Missouri had a season-low 10 turnovers in each of its last two games. SEMO committed only three turnovers in the second half against Missouri Baptist (Dec. 3).

Ward Among OVC Leaders
Freshman BJ Ward ranks 10th in the Ohio Valley Conference in steals and ninth in assists entering Wednesday's game vs. Harris-Stowe. Ward has 21 assists and eight steals in seven games off the bench. He collected a season-high three steals at Chattanooga (Nov. 26).

3-Pointer Streak
As a team, Southeast Missouri has made at least one 3-pointer in 467 consecutive games. The last time SEMO did not make a 3-pointer was vs. Western Illinois (0-of-6) on Dec. 10, 2008.

About Harris-Stowe
Wednesday's game at Southeast Missouri will be an exhibition matchup for NAIA member Harris-Stowe. The Hornets are the second-straight American Midwest Conference foe to visit the Show Me Center this season. HSSU is currently 3-10 this season and lost its last three contests. The Hornets average under 70 points a game (69.6) and are led by Seth Chargois who averages 16.8 points per contest.
