Series History
Southeast Missouri meets Bryant for the first time in its program history. Bryant was in the Big South-OVC Association for just one season. It will join the Colonial Athletic Association (CAA) as a football-only member in 2024.

Long Trip Ahead
The Redhawks make their longest trip during the final week of the season. Southeast Missouri will take a charter flight from Cape Girardeau to Providence, Rhode Island for Saturday's contest. Flight time is approximately two hours and 31 minutes. Smithfield, R.I., where Bryant is located, is 1,240 miles away from Cape Girardeau. Drive time would be 18 hours and 42 minutes.

Two-Game Skid
Southeast Missouri is looking to end a two-game losing streak in its final game of the year Saturday. SEMO came up on the short end of a 21-20 home loss vs. Robert Morris (Nov. 4) and dropped a 41-14 decision to #16 UT Martin (Nov. 11) on the road during the last two weeks. UTM earned a share of this year's Big South-OVC title with its win over the Redhawks.

Hess Approaching 5,000 Rushing Yards
Geno Hess is just 60 rushing yards away from reaching 5,000 in his career. Hess, Southeast Missouri's all-time leading rusher, has 4,940 yards. He is on pace to become the first player in program history to ever rush for 5,000 career yards.

Flournoy Goes Over 100 Receiving Yards Again
Ryan Flournoy went over 100 receiving yards for the second time this season when he caught nine passes for 112 yards and a touchdown at UT Martin (Nov. 11). Flournoy had 76 yards after the catch and scored his touchdown on a 75-yard reception in the third quarter. It was sixth 100-yard receiving game of his career.

Give it Up for the Freshman
True freshman quarterback Greg Menne threw his first career touchdown pass when he hooked up with Ryan Flournoy for a 75-yard strike at UT Martin (Nov. 11). The play came on Menne's first pass attempt of the game in the third quarter. He completed 3-of-5 passes for 91 yards in the contest.

Lewis Pick Six
On the third play of the game, Joedrick Lewis intercepted Kinkead Dent's pass and ran 28 yards for a touchdown to give Southeast Missouri an early 7-0 lead at #16 UT Martin (Nov. 11). It was Lewis' team-high third interception of the season and SEMO's second pick six in 2023.

Nine of 11 League Wins
Southeast Missouri has won nine of its last 11 conference games dating back to the end of the 2021 season. SEMO had its nine-game conference winning streak snapped with a 21-20 setback vs. Robert Morris (Nov. 4). The Redhawks were undefeated at 5-0 in league play a year ago.
