COOKEVILLE, Tenn. – Southeast Missouri volleyball (20-6, 12-3 OVC) dropped Friday night's match to Tennessee Tech (12-16, 8-9 OVC) by a final score of 3-1 at the Eblen Center.
The Redhawks dropped the match 28-30, 19-25, 25-20, 17-25 in just their third loss in Ohio Valley Conference play this season.
SEMO was led offensively by freshman outside hitter
Lucy Arndt. Arndt finished with 15 total kills on 38 attacks (7 errors) for a .211 hitting-percentage.
As a team, SEMO hit just .135 compared to Tennessee Tech who finished with a .250 hitting-percentage as they won their sixth-straight match in league play. They entered the night in fifth place in the OVC.
Setter
Izzy Lukens dished out 38 assists as eight different Redhawks recorded a kill on Friday night.
Talia Gouard finished the night with the highest hitting-percentage on the team as she hit .429 with 10 kills, on 21 total attacks, and just one error. She was also lethal at the net as the middle blocker finished with four blocks.
TTU had four players finish with double-digits for kills led by Madolyn Isringhausen who finished the match with 20 kills and a .294 hitting-percentage.
Kaelyn O'Brien had a nice night off the bench for the Redhawks as the rightside hitter finished with nine kills and three blocks.

Tara Beilsmith recorded 29 digs from the backline as SEMO finished with 72 digs total.
As a team, SEMO finished with six service aces led by
Nina Schuberth. Coming into the night, Schuberth was ranked third in the Ohio Valley Conference for service aces and finished tied with a team-high two aces. Sophomore defensive specialist
Kalia Morris also had two aces on the evening.
SEMO volleyball will conclude the weekend series in Cookeville, Tenn., tomorrow evening at 7 p.m., CT. from the Eblen Center.
