NASHVILLE, Tenn. - Southeast Missouri tennis goes undefeated against Tennessee State, going 6-0 in doubles and singles to finish their fall season.
Doubles partners Daniela Hlacikova and Juliette Talieu beat Warona Mdlulwa and Claudia Murdasanu (6-1) and rolled past Louise Ratiu and Natalie Walsh 6-3.
The Freshman pair of Ewa Czapulak and Maja Bajorek went into extras against Walsh and Jovana Nikolic winning 7-6, going 7-0 in the tie break.
Leera Valeeva and Vivian Lai defeated Taylor Ellis and Aroa Arrieta Castillo (6-0) and won 6-4 in their second match.
In singles at flight one Hlacikova beat Mdlulwa (6-0, 6-2) and Talieu picked up the win against Sydni Lollar (6-4, 6-0) in an exhibition match.
Lai beat Ratiu (6-4, 6-4) and Czapulak fought back against Daniela Koleva, winning 6-0, 5-7, and 10-5 at No. 3 and 4.
Valeeva and Bajorek dominated their opponents (6-2, 6-4 and 6-1, 6-3) against Nikolic and Castillo.Â
The Redhawks are back in action in January for the start of the spring season.
