CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri women's gymnastics announced its 2023 schedule Wednesday. The Redhawks will compete in 11 competitions while hosting five meets, including the 2023 Midwest Independent Conference Championship.
Redhawks home meets will be against Greenville, Texas's Woman's, Centenary, Lindenwood, Fisk, and Illinois State.
SEMO opens the 2023 campaign on Sunday, Jan. 8 with a dual meet hosted by fellow MIC opponent, Lindenwood, in St. Charles, Missouri.
After opening the season on the road, the Redhawks will be back in Cape Girardeau for week two of the season when they host Greenville and Centenary in their home opener at Houck Field House on Saturday, Jan. 14.
SEMO will then head back on the road for the next week to compete in the Tennessee Collegiate Classic, Friday, Jan. 20. The Redhawks will compete in the fourth annual Tennessee Collegiate Classic against Lindenwood, Kent State, Fisk, and Ball State at the Farm Bureau Exposition Center.
The following weekend (Jan. 27) the Redhawks will be back at home to host Texas Woman's in a dual meet at Houck Field House.
After the Redhawks host the home meet they will be traveling to Muncie, Indiana, to compete in a quad meet Sunday, Jan. 29. Ball State will be hosting this tri which will also feature Pittsburgh and Fisk.
Following the trip to Indiana the Redhawks will come back home for a bye week from Feb. 3-5.
After the bye week, SEMO will continue its 2023 slate at home with a tri meet on Friday, Feb. 10 against Lindenwood and Fisk.
SEMO will then be out on the road for the next two weeks from Feb. 17 through Feb. 25.
The road trip will start with the Redhawks traveling to Normal, Illinois, for a dual meet against Illinois State on Friday, Feb. 17 in Horton Field House.
SEMO will conclude its two-week road trip with a dual meet against Greenville in Greenville, Illinois on Saturday, Feb. 25.
The Redhawks then come back home to host Senior Night against Illinois State on Friday, March 3.
SEMO will conclude the regular season with a road trip to Columba, Missouri, on Friday, March 10. The Redhawks will compete in a quad meet against host, Missouri, North Carolina, and Ball State, in the Hearnes Center.
The Redhawks will then travel back to Cape Girardeau to host the 2023 MIC Championship at Houck Field House on Friday, March 17. SEMO will compete against Centenary, Illinois State, Lindenwood, and Texas Women's for the league title.

Single Meet tickets are also available. Fans can save money on single-meet admission by purchasing tickets
online in advance. Single-meet tickets are $6 when purchased
online (after convenience fees), compared to $8 at the door.
2023 MIC Championship tickets are available for purchase online. Tickets for the MIC Championship hosted at Houck Field House are $12 if purchased
online (after convenience fees), or $15 if purchased at the door.
