Football to Host L.E.A.D. – A Day to Get Better Professional Development Experience

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – The Southeast Missouri football program will host a unique professional development experience called L.E.A.D. – A Day to Get Better on Monday, July 26. The event will take place on the campus of Southeast Missouri State University beginning at 8:30 a.m., CT.

SEMO Head Coach Tom Matukewicz will personally help leaders of organizations learn how to establish, build and define culture by leading through his cornerstones of Love, Effort, Attitude and Discipline. Attendees will work alongside the SEMO coaching staff and hear from football student-athletes about how the L.E.A.D. culture has impacted their lives.

Participants will get a firsthand look at what it is like to be recruited as a Division I student-athlete. There will also be opportunities to network with business owners, school officials and other leaders from the community and region.

This all-inclusive experience, presented by former SEMO football player Justin Martini, affords participants the opportunity to work closely with Redhawk coaches and student-athletes in a full day of professional development activities. The cornerstone sponsors include Red Letter Communications, Montgomery Bank, The Printing Company and Arnold Insurance.

Cost is $500 per person and the event is limited to 100 guests. Registration includes professional development programming, lunch, dinner, an event notebook and attendee gift. All proceeds will go toward helping SEMO football student-athletes with their summer school expenses.
