CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri's football team will play an 11-game schedule with five matchups at Houck Field in 2018.
 
SEMO kicks off the season at Football Bowl Subdivision and Sun Belt Conference member Arkansas State on Sept. 1. The Redhawks meet the Red Wolves for the 12^th time overall and first since 2003.
 
The remainder of the Redhawks non-conference slate includes a home game against Dayton (Sept. 8) and short road trip to regional-rival Southern Illinois (Sept. 15). The Flyers return the trip to Cape Girardeau for SEMO's home-opener on Family Weekend. The week after, the Redhawks and Salukis square off for the 86^th time in the all-time series that dates all the way back to 1909.
 
SEMO's eight-game Ohio Valley Conference schedule features road games at Eastern Kentucky (Sept. 22), Tennessee Tech (Oct. 6), UT Martin (Oct. 27) and Murray State (Nov. 10), and home contests against Austin Peay (Oct. 13), defending league champion Jacksonville State (Oct. 20), Tennessee State (Nov. 3) and Eastern Illinois (Nov. 17). APSU is the Redhawks homecoming opponent this year.
