Tesia Thompson scored a game-high 23 points as Southeast Missouri (2-5) fell to Indiana State (4-1), 62-51, Thursday night at the Show Me Center.
In a sloppy game that featured a total of 63 turnovers and 57 personal fouls, Thompson shot 7-of-16 from the field and 9-of-14 as SEMO's only double-digit scorer.
ISU came out of the gate and scored 11 points before the Redhawks were able to get a single point on the board.
Losmie Lutaya ended the drought with two free throws.
SEMO had as many turnovers as it did points in the first half, but only trailed by nine, 33-24, at the intermission.
The Sycamores led by as many as 19 points with 6:22 left to play in the fourth quarter.
LaTrese Saine's layup dipped ISU's lead to single digits (60-51) with 48 seconds to go, but that was as close as the Redhawks would get.
SEMO outrebounded ISU, 44-32. The Redhawks also turned the ball over a school record 35 times with 24 of their miscues coming in the first half.
Defensively, the Redhawks had a season-high nine blocks against ISU, just one shy of the program record.
ISU managed to score 35 points of SEMO's turnovers.
The Sycamores put four starters in double figures. Ashli O'Neal led the way with 15 points, Tamara Lee followed with 12 and Kierra Isaiah and Regan Wentland each added 10.
SEMO shot a season-high 53.6 percent (15-for-28) at the free throw line courtesy of 31 ISU fouls.
The Redhawks host Illinois-Springfield in its annual Classroom on the Court game on Dec. 4. Tip-off is set for 11 a.m., CT, at the Show Me Center.
