CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Al Myers joined the Southeast Missouri men's basketball staff as director of operations, head coach Rick Ray announced Wednesday.
 
Myers brings a special skill set to his new role as he has spent over 17 years of broad-based success, driving revenue and market-share growth in critical, cross-cultural leadership roles.
 
"I am extremely excited to add Al to our staff," said Ray. "He has had some unique experiences in his lifetime that will really serve our players well in his role as a mentor to our young men. Al will have an immediate impact with our program in regards to organization, community outreach and generating interest about our basketball team. He is over qualified for this position and we are lucky to have him join our family."
 
Most recently, Myers worked as a Director of Talent Management with Supremacy Consulting, where he developed and directed end-to-end Talent Acquisition enterprise operations, national standards and regional and local support infrastructure among other duties. 
 
Prior to that, he was a Senior District Manager at Kelly Services in Des Moines, Iowa and worked as Business Development & Talent Acquisition Manager at AT-Tech in Overland Park, Kansas. In addition, Myers was the Co-Founder/President of Midwest Success LLC (IT Consulting and Staff-Augmentation Firm) in Kansas City, Missouri.
 
Myers graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree from Wichita State in 1992. He received his Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Law in 2003.
