CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Former Southeast Missouri shooting guard
Isiah Jones will begin his professional basketball career later this month.
Jones signed a contract to play for the Kyrenia Basketball Club in Cyprus, an island off the coast of Turkey.
A native of Pulaski, Illinois, Jones averaged 10.4 points per game and led the team with 55 three-pointers during his final year at Southeast in 2015-16. He also pulled down 3.1 rebounds per contest and led the Redhawks in assists (86) and steals (49).
"It's a true blessing to make it to the highest level of basketball," said Jones. "It's been a great preseason so far and I'm looking forward to the upcoming year."
