Redhawks Travel to Martin Tuesday

CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. -- Southeast Missouri (1-12, 0-3) will take on UT Martin (5-10, 2-1) Tuesday at the Skyhawk Tennis Complex.
"UT Martin has a strong program, and I am excited to coach against my alma mater," said head coach Mary Beth Gunn. "As a team, we are looking to play more consistently and tenaciously in the matchup tomorrow than we did against Jacksonville State this past Saturday."
The Redhawks are looking to snap an 11-match losing streak and pick up their first win in conference. Mariya Kostiuk leads Southeast with nine total victories, including six in singles play.
UTM has won five out of its last nine matches after starting the season 0-6. The Skyhawks are tied for second in the Ohio Valley Conference with Jacksonville State. Junior Sarah Candeloro leads the squad with 13 wins at the No. 1 position.
