"The ladies did a great job tonight of really fighting to the last match," said head coach
Mary Beth Gunn. "Isabella won a tough three-set match and really kept the energy going for our whole team. She really listened and made adjustments from her match last weekend in Carbondale. Mariya had lost two three-set matches this spring and finally got it to go her way tonight. It was a big confidence boost for her, and I think it legitimizes her as one of the top players in the league."
Southeast returns to action next weekend when it faces Nebraska-Omaha (Mar. 5) and Missouri State (Mar. 6) in Springfield, Missouri.
