EDWARDSVILLE, Ill. – Southeast Missouri (10-18, 3-12) held a lead over the No. 2 team in the Ohio Valley Conference with just over 12 minutes left but the Redhawks were unable to hold on in a 78-67 loss at SIU Edwardsville (17-11, 12-3) Wednesday night.

"I couldn't be more proud of this basketball team," head coach Ty Margenthaler said. "Every single one of those young ladies gave it their all tonight.
