CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – Southeast Missouri (10-19, 3-13) dropped a 72-67 decision against Austin Peay (10-19, 7-9) Saturday afternoon at the Show Me Center. Tiasha Gray paced the Lady Govs with game-highs of 36 points and six steals.

Jasmine Robinson recorded a double-double for Southeast with 17 points and 12 rebounds. Erin Bollmann added 15 points and six boards while Olivia Hackmann scored 13 points with six rebounds.

Austin Peay outscored Southeast 22-6 in points off of turnovers and 30-26 in points in the paint. The game featured three tied scores and four lead changes.

For the game, the Redhawks shot 38 percent (25-for-66) from the field and 35 percent (7-for-20) from 3-point range. The Lady Govs shot 42 percent (26-for-62) from the floor and 27 percent (4-for-15) from beyond the arc.

Southeast got out to a 16-11 lead with 9:15 remaining in the first half on a 3-pointer by Yelena Rosado. The Redhawks would increase the lead to 30-17 on a layup by Allyson Bradshaw with 4:48 left before halftime, capping a stretch of eight consecutive made shots.

At the break, the Redhawks led 37-29. Bollmann paced Southeast with eight first-half points while Robinson added seven points and eight rebounds. Gray scored 13 points and grabbed three steals for the Lady Govs during the first 20 minutes.

The teams traded baskets over the first seven minutes of the second half before Austin Peay went on a 6-0 run to pull within two at 47-44 on a triple by Gray with 11:21 remaining.

Following another 3-pointer by Gray, Brianne Alexander tied the score at 49-49 with a layup for the Lady Govs with 9:41 to play.

Southeast answered back with a 6-0 run of its own and pulled ahead 55-49 on a jumper by Connor King at the 8:24 mark.

After the Redhawks went up 59-53 on two free throws by Robinson with 7:18 left, Austin Peay scored the next 13 points to regain a lead that would not be relinquished. Alexander connected on a free throw to pull ahead 60-59 with 4:52 remaining and a Gray capped the run with a free throw to make the score 67-59 with 1:48 on the clock.

Hackmann drained a 3-pointer to pull within five with 1:33 left and Robinson sank a jumper with 41 seconds remaining to pull within 68-64. Bollmann connected on her third triple of the contest with 19 seconds to play, tying a career-high from long range.

After Beth Rates made one of two free throws on the other end, Bollmann's 3-point attempt with seven seconds left was no good. Gray clinched the game with two shots from the charity stripe.

Seniors Allyson Bradshaw, Hillary Lively, Jasmine Robinson and Yelena Rosado wrapped up their collegiate careers and were honored along with their families prior to the contest.
