Series History
Southeast leads its all-time series against Austin Peay by a count of 13-6. APSU is the only Ohio Valley Conference school that the Redhawks lead in a series. Southeast won 12 of its last 14 meetings with the Governors and holds a five-game winning streak in the all-time series. The Redhawks are 8-2 all-time at Governors Stadium, winning in each of their last eight trips there. Southeast last lost to APSU in Clarksville during its first year at the NCAA Division I Football Championship level in 1991 (24-21, Sept. 28).

First Road Win
The Redhawks, who have played at home in four of the last six weeks, are searching for their first road win of the season. Southeast is currently 0-3 outside of Cape Girardeau this year. Southeast has dropped six-straight road games dating back to last season. The Redhawks last win on the road was at UT Martin (31-27) on Sept. 27, 2014.

Let's Get Another
Southeast snapped a two-game losing streak with its commanding 38-17 win over Tennessee Tech (Oct. 31). The win marked the Redhawks' second in Ohio Valley Conference play this year. A victory at Austin Peay Saturday would give Southeast its first winning streak of the season. Southeast's last winning streak was three games, from Sept. 20-Oct. 4, 2014.

Lots of Season-Highs
The Redhawks scored a season-high 38 points in their win over Tennessee Tech (Oct. 31). Southeast also established new season-highs in sacks (7), tackles for loss (12) and pass breakups (6) against the Golden Eagles.

Something Special
On a special day where Southeast wore pink jerseys with names of individuals affected by cancer as part of its Pink Up initiative, the Redhawk special teams stole the show. Southeast scored 17 points in 5:18 on special teams to flip the game in the third quarter. Darrius Darden-Box blocked a punt and returned it 7 yards for a touchdown, Ryan McCrum kicked a 50-yard field goal and Paul McRoberts ran back a punt 69 yards for a touchdown during that stretch. It was the first time Southeast blocked a punt for a touchdown since Oct. 19, 2013 (at Eastern Illinois). Meanwhile, McRoberts became the first Redhawk to return a punt for a touchdown since Chris NesSmith (44 yds) accomplished the feat vs. Tennessee State on Oct. 5, 2002.

One More to Go
Senior Paul McRoberts needs just one more receiving touchdown to break Southeast's all-time career record in receiving TDs. McRoberts is tied at the top of the list with Willie Ponder (2001-02) as each have 26 receiving touchdowns. He also ranks among the school's career leaders in total touchdowns (t5th, 27), receiving yards (3rd, 2,154) and pass receptions (4th, 147). McRoberts, who has six receiving touchdowns in eight starts this season, caught a touchdown pass in 16 of his last 21 games.

Twenty-Seven Total Touchdowns
Paul McRoberts scored a touchdown -- other than receiving -- for the first time in his career against Tennessee Tech (Oct. 31). McRoberts, who made his debut as a punt returner two weeks earlier, returned a punt 69 yards for a touchdown with 2:30 left in the third quarter. He had 26 receiving touchdowns prior to that score. McRoberts (27) is now tied for fifth with Willie Ponder (2001-02) in career touchdowns at Southeast.

McCullough Wins Second OVC Newcomer of the Week Award
Southeast junior running back Tremane McCullough secured his second adidas® Ohio Valley Conference Newcomer of the Week honor on Nov. 1. A native of Royal Palm Beach, Florida, McCullough rushed for 138 yards and a touchdown to help Southeast snap a two-game losing streak with a 38-17 victory over Tennessee Tech. The transfer from Arizona Western Community College carried the ball 17 times (8.1 ypc) and caught two passes for 14 yards. His biggest play of the game came late in the first quarter when he ripped off an 81-yard run to give the Redhawks a 7-3 lead. The 81-yard run is the second-longest in the OVC this season (10th nationally) and fourth-longest in Southeast history. It also marked McCullough's fourth 100-yard game of the season, which is tops in the OVC. McCullough ranks 17th nationally in rushing yards/carry (6.17), 25th in rushing yards/game (91.0) and 25th in total rushing yards (728). McCullough, who also garnered OVC Newcomer of the Week accolades on Oct. 4, joined Jacksonville State quarterback Eli Jenkins (Offensive) and linebacker Dawson Wells (Defensive), and Eastern Kentucky punter Keith Wrzuszczak as this week's honorees.

Man With a Purpose
Tremane McCullough went over 1,000 all-purpose yards against Tennessee Tech (Oct. 31). McCullough, who ranks third in the Ohio Valley Conference with 125.1 all-purpose yards a game, has a total of 1,001 this season. He needs 386 more yards to crack Southeast's all-time single-season list.

Moore Lands Spot Among Career Interception Leaders
Junior Eriq Moore notched his seventh career interception against Tennessee Tech (Oct. 31). Moore, who ranks second on the team with three picks this season, is tied for 17th all-time among Southeast's career interception leaders.

20-Sack Season
The Redhawks registered a season-high seven sacks against Tennessee Tech (Oct. 31). Chad Meredith paved the way with 2.5 for a loss of 10 yards. Terrance Hill, Selwyn Carrol, Roper Garrett and Lawrence Hills also added one apiece. Southeast's seven sacks against the Golden Eagles are second-most in a game in the Ohio Valley Conference this year. Southeast tallied 20 sacks in a season for the first time since 2007. In addition, its 22 sacks are the most in a season since 2006 (23). Southeast has had five or more sacks in two games this year, as well.

Road to Another Milestone
Paul McRoberts needs 341 receiving yards to reach 1,000 this season. McRoberts currently ranks fifth in the Ohio Valley Conference with 659 receiving yards behind Murray State's Jeremy Harness (759), UT Martin's Rod Wright (755), Tennessee Tech's Brock McCoin (747) and Tennessee State's Patrick Smith (685). He is also third in the league with six touchdown receptions, tied for fifth in receptions per game (6.0) and fifth in receiving yards per game (82.4) through eight starts this year. If McRoberts hits the mark, he will become the first Southeast player to notch 1,000 receiving yards in a season since Willie Ponder set the school's all-time single-season record with 1,453 yards in 2002.

Vandeven Approaching 1,000 Passing Yards
Freshman Dante Vandeven needs just 58 passing yards to reach 1,000 this season. Vandeven has thrown for 942 yards and six touchdowns in six games and five starts as the Redhawks rookie quarterback. Bobby Brune was Southeast's last quarterback to throw for 1,000 yards as a true freshman when he had 1,167 in 1998.

Bender, Carrol and Wilson Return
Quarterback Tay Bender (sprained left shoulder), defensive end Selwyn Carrol (lower back) and nose tackle Joshua Wilson (ACL tear, right knee) made their return against Tennessee Tech (Oct. 31). Bender had one carry and Carrol made three tackles, had a sack and added a tackle for loss. Bender played for the first time since Sept. 19 (at Indiana State); Carrol returned after missing the Eastern Kentucky game (Oct. 17); and Wilson came back after missing two weeks (Oct. 10, Oct. 17).

Games With a Catch
Paul McRoberts has gone 15-consecutive games with a catch. McRoberts has 147 catches for 2,154 yards and 27 touchdowns in 36 games and 25 starts. The last time McRoberts went without a catch was at Jacksonville State on Nov. 23, 2013.

Lloyd Eyes 1,000
Starting wide receiver Peter Lloyd is 31 yards from getting 1,000 in his career. Lloyd is third on the team with 103 receiving yards on 17 catches this year. He has 85 receptions for 969 yards and five touchdowns in his career.

The Redhawks lead the Ohio Valley Conference in net punting and rank second in fourth-down conversion percentage and rushing offense (194 ypg), and third in interceptions (9). He Can Return it Too
Paul McRoberts made his debut as a return man against Eastern Kentucky (Oct. 17). McRoberts fielded his first career punt and ran 29 yards after EKU's opening drive of the game. He finished with three punt returns for 37 yards, averaging 12.3 yards per return in that game. McRoberts returned four punts for 83 yards and a touchdown vs. Tennessee Tech (Oct. 31). He leads the team with 120 punt return yards and averages 17.1 yards per return.

Knight Fifth in FCS in Punting
The Ohio Valley Conference's top punter, Alex Knight is fifth in the Football Championship Subdivision in punting with 45.2 yards per punt. Thirteen of Knight's punts have travelled 50 or more yards with 23 falling inside the 20-yard line. His 45.20 yards per punt average currently ranks second on Southeast's
all-time single-season list.

On the Radar
Tremane McCullough, who enters the week as the Ohio Valley Conference's second-leading rusher with 91.0 yards per game (728 yds), is 272 away from 1,000 rushing yards this season. Southeast has not had a 1,000-yard rusher in a season since 2012 (Levi Terrell, 1,349 yds).McCullough and Jacksonville State's Troymaine Pope (763) are currently the two OVC running backs closest to 1,000 yards. Lamar's Kade Harrington (1,550), Fordham's Chase Edmonds (1,444), North Dakota's John Santiago (1,162), Illinois State's Marshaun Coprich (1,150) and William & Mary's Kendell Anderson (1,034) are the 1,000-yard rushers in the Football Championship Subdivision this year.

Garrett Joins Southeast's All-Time Tackles Leaders
Linebacker Roper Garrett joined Southeast's  top-20 all-time career tackles leaders when he had three against Tennessee Tech (Oct. 31). Garrett has 230 tackles in 29 games and 19 starts. He leads the Redhawks and ranks fourth in the Ohio Valley Conference with 8.6 tackles per game (69 total tackles) this year. Garrett registered double-digit tackles a total of eight times in his career. He is now 20th all-time in career tackles at Southeast.

Takeaway Turnaround
After finishing its 2014 season last in the Ohio Valley Conference in turnover margin (-9), Southeast enters this week as the OVC leader at +8. The Redhawks had a season-high seven takeaways (4 fumbles, 3 interceptions) in a mammoth effort against Southern Illinois (Sept. 12). It was Southeast's most takeaways in a game since getting six vs. Mars Hill College on Sept. 8, 2012. The Redhawks have a total of 15  takeaways this year and forced a turnover in 11 of their previous 13 contests dating back to last season.

Good on Fourth Down
Southeast, which led the Ohio Valley Conference and ranked 13th in the Football Championship Subdivision in fourth-down conversion percentage a year ago, has picked up where it left off in that category. Through eight games this season, the Redhawks are ninth in the nation and second in the Ohio Valley Conference on fourth down. Southeast (10-of-14) converted 71.4 of its fourth-down chances this year.

100 Second Half Points
Southeast has scored 100 points in the second half this season, including 52 in the third quarter and 48 in the fourth. The Redhawks recently outscored Tennessee Tech (Oct. 31), 24-7, in the second half with 17 points coming in the third period. Southeast outscored its opponent in the second half for the fifth time in eight games this year.
