CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Southeast Missouri (9-8, 3-3) dropped its third-straight match when it lost to SIU Edwardsville (8-8, 3-3) Saturday afternoon at the Redhawks Tennis Complex.
Southeast won at No. 2 and No. 6 singles, with Valeriia Nagovitcina beating Monique Krutak, 3-6, 6-4, 6-3, and Melissa Martin upending McKenzie Thomas, 7-5, 7-6.
Valeriia Kashina and Ekaterina Donetckova defeated Sierra Halverson and Krutak, 8-5, in No. 1 doubles.
Southeast returns to action at Eastern Illinois Sunday.
