PEORIA, Ill. – The Southeast Missouri cross country teams competed at the Bradley Pink Classic Friday afternoon. The women's squad finished 10^th while the men's team placed 18^th.

The women's team accomplished their main goal of being the top Ohio Valley Conference team in Peoria on Friday as Eastern Illinois finished 11^th, Morehead State finished 18^th, Murray placed 20^th, and SIUE finished 26^th in the women's race.

Rebekah Lawson was Southeast's top-finisher as she turned in a 14^th-place finish with a time of 21:37.9 in the 6k race. Gloria Westlake was 20 seconds behind in 24^th-place in 21:57.9. Megan Parks was the next Redhawk across the finish line in 41^st-place with a time of 2:11.9. Mary Dohogne (101^st, 22:54.5) and Angela Sumner (120^th, 23:03.3) finished next. Lindsey Seabaugh (149^th, 23:15.8), Sydney O'Brien (156^th, 23:18.6), and Kristen Richardet (165^th, 23:20.8) finished close together in the pack. Andrea George (23:42.0) and Eilish Overby (24:23.4) rounded out the pack for Southeast in 198^th and 233^rd, respectively.

On the men's side, Tyler Beaman turned in hit first top-finish for Southeast of the season when he finished 66^th with a time of 25:53.5. Marc Maton (26:05.6) and Ryan Anderson (26:06.5) finished 86^th and 89^th, respectively. Shane Brown finished next in 95^th with a time of 26:09.1 followed by Colten Strotheide in 106^th in 26:16.1. Tyson Stoverink and Nathan Cook finished together in 120^th and 121^st-places with a time of 26:27. Tyler Holmes (139^th, 26:39.2), Dan Plunkett (204^th, 27:43.6), and Sean Brown (241^st, 29:29.9) rounded out the race for the Redhawks.

The Redhawks will compete at the Ohio Valley Conference Championships Nov. 1 in Oxford, Alabama.
