Natasha Minor converted a go-ahead penalty kick with just 4:13 remaining to break a scoreless tie and push Southeast Missouri (6-5-0, 3-2-0) over Belmont (4-5-4, 1-2-2) on Sunday afternoon.

The teams dueled in a back-and-forth battle before a late Bruins penalty set up Minor's conversion. It was the fourth goal of the season for Minor, which ranks second on the team. She leads the squad with 13 points.

Kindra Lierz and the Redhawks defense earned their fifth shutout of the season. Lierz recorded four saves.

Southeast returns to OVC action next weekend with the final two matches of the season at Missouri National Guard Field at Houck Stadium. Friday's contest vs. Eastern Kentucky begins at 6:30 p.m. The home finale on Sunday begins at 1 p.m. and will be Senior Day with all seniors and their families being honored prior to the game.
