Southeast Spends Thanksgiving in Mexico
Southeast Missouri (3-2) travels outside the country to Puerto Vallarta, Mexico for the Cure UCD Classic this week. Southeast opens tournament play against Northern Kentucky (1-4). Tip-off is set for 6:30 p.m., CT, at the Puerto Vallarta Convention Center.

Happy Thanksgiving
Southeast is spending this year's Thanksgiving abroad. The Redhawks arrived in Puerto Vallarta, Mexico Wednesday afternoon and will be staying at the Hard Rock Hotel during its five-day visit. Southeast will return stateside late in the evening on Monday, Dec. 2. The Redhawks are 2-3 in games right after the Thanksgiving holiday under head coach
Dickey Nutt.
Out of the U.S.
The Redhawks travel outside the United States for the second time during their NCAA Division I era. Southeast last played in a tournament in Bayamon, Puerto Rico during the 1997-98 season. That year, the Redhawks lost to Cincinnati (80-57), Old Dominion (74-61) and Fresno State (83-77) at the Eugenio Guerra Complex.

Southeast meets Atlantic Sun member Northern Kentucky for the first time this season. The Redhawks and Norse square off at this week's five-team UCD Classic. Tulane, Texas State and Cedarville are also part of the event which began in New Orleans, La., last week.
Redhawk Rewind
The Redhawks picked up their third win in four games with a 109-64 victory over NAIA Mid-Continent on Nov. 22. Southeast improved to 2-0 at home this season, scoring over 100 points in each of their first two games at the Show Me Center in 2013-14.
NCAA Rankings
Southeast ranks fourth in the nation in assists per game and 17th in scoring offense according to the NCAA's first statistical report issued earlier this week. The Redhawks, who also lead the Ohio Valley Conference in each of those categories, are averaging 90 points and 20.4 assists per game. Southeast is also 17th in the country with 10.8 steals per contest.
Lucas Nutt stands sixth nationally in assists per game (7.4) and 11th in total assists (37).
Switching it Up
Forward Nino Johnsson will make his first start of the season when Southeast takes on Northern Kentucky Friday. Johnson is coming off back-to-back double-digit scoring games off the bench. It will be the fourth different starting lineup combination the Redhawks have used this year.
Bradley Does it Again
Junior forward
Jarekious Bradley has already been named Ohio Valley Conference Newcomer of the Week twice and Player of the Week once this season. Bradley secured his second OVC Newcomer of the Week honor when he scored over 20 points in back-to-back games for the Redhawks last week. He scored a game-high 26 points and grabbed nine rebounds at Ball State (Nov. 18). Four days later, Bradley pitched in 21 points and added seven rebounds, while shooting 66.7 percent (8-of-12) from the field vs. Mid-Continent. He finished the week averaging 23.5 points and eight rebounds, while shooting 58.3 percent (17-of-29) from the field and 90 percent (9-of-10) at the free throw line. Bradley currently ranks third in the OVC in scoring with 19.4 points a game.
Stone Clears 1,000 Points and 500 Rebounds
Senior forward
Tyler Stone became the 23rd player at Southeast to score over 1,000 points in his career when he finished with 24 at Ball State (11/18). A native of Memphis, Tenn., Stone shot 8-of-17 from the field and 6-of-8 at the free throw line, while grabbing seven rebounds and dishing out three assists against the Cardinals. He officially scored his 1,000th career point on his basket with 6:04 left in the first half. Stone has 1,038 points and 522 rebounds in his career. In addition, he contributed seven rebounds at BSU, and as a result, went over 500 boards in his career. Stone is currently 46 rebounds away from cracking the school's top-10 career rebound list. Riley Ellis (1984-85) occupies the No. 10 spot with 568 rebounds.

Marland Smith (2009-13), who was teammates with Stone during the 2011-12 and 2012-13 season was the other player to accomplish the feat. Smith ranks sixth all-time on the Redhawks career scoring list with 1,423 points. Both Stone and Smith got their 1,000th career point during the third year of their Southeast careers.
Cleveland Named OVC Freshman of the Week
Southeast guard
Antonius Cleveland was named the Ohio Valley Conference Freshman of the Week on Nov. 18. Cleveland, who hails from Memphis, Tenn., averaged 14 points, 5.5 rebounds, three assists and three steals per contest in two victories during the week of Nov. 11-17. Cleveland began the week with 13 points, eight rebounds, four steals, two assists and two blocks in 21 minutes against Central Baptist College (Nov. 11). He followed that up with 15 points (13 which came in the first half), three rebounds, four assists and two steals in 34 minutes of play at IUPUI (Nov. 16). Cleveland had three dunks in the first half against the Jaguars, as well.
Cleveland Among League's Top Scoring Freshmen
Antonius Cleveland is currently ranks third among freshmen in the Ohio Valley Conference with 11.8 points per game. Cleveland, who has scored double figures in his first three starts of the season, is 25th overall in the league. Murray State's Cameron Payne (13.5 ppg) and Jeffery Moss (11.7 ppg) are the other freshmen ahead of Cleveland.
Conference Leaders
Southeast presently leads the Ohio Valley Conference in scoring offense (90 ppg), assists (20.4 apg) and assist/turnover ratio (1.6 ratio). The Redhawks are also second in the league in scoring margin (+17.6) and steals (13.8 spg) through five games this season.
First Half Leads
The Redhawks have led at halftime in four of their first five games this season. Southeast pulled ahead of Saint Louis, 35-34, on Nov. 8, Central Baptist, 49-27, on Nov. 11, IUPUI, 42-35, on Nov. 16 and, 56-29, of Mid-Continent on Nov. 22. The Redhawks have led at the intermission in 13 of their last 15 games dating back to Feb. 2, 2013. Southeast is outscoring its opponents, 217-165, in the first half this season.
One More Three
Guard
Lucas Nutt needs just one more three-pointer to reach 100 in his career. Nutt has knocked down 99-of-265 (.373) threes since joining the Redhawks in 2009-10. He leads the Ohio Valley Conference in free throw percentage (1.000) and assist/turnover ratio (37 assists, 8 turnovers, 4.5 ratio).
