nd-and-6 at the Southeast 30-yardline when
Travis Sanders sacked Butler. Butler fumbled on the play and Andrews scooped up the ball and dashed 68 yards for a touchdown.
The Redhawks then botched the snap on their ensuing point after attempt and Antonio Harper recovered the ball and ran 85 yards to Southeast's end zone for a defensive PAT. The score stood deadlocked at 9-9 with 9:24 in the second quarter as a result of those plays.

Meanwhile, Southeast's offense had just 71 yards of total offense in the first half, including 39 on its only scoring drive.
TSU moved to Southeast's 2-yardline on its first drive of the second half, but settled for a 21-yard field goal by Jamin Godfrey after the Redhawks defense stopped the Tigers on three-straight plays.

Kyle Snyder's pass and ran seven yards to set up TSU's next score. Eight plays later, Tim Broughton hit paydirt on a 4-yard run to give the Tigers a 26-9 lead with 5:16 left in the third quarter.
