CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. – KFVS12.com is launching its sixth season of the Southeast Health WebCast, which features 13 Southeast Missouri athletic events this fall.

All of Southeast's regular season home football games, four soccer match ups and four more volleyball matches will be streamed on the internet free of charge on KFVS12.com. Both the live presentation and archived versions (posted several hours after the end of coverage) of these selected WebCasts will be available at no cost to Redhawk fans.

KFVS12 Sports Director Todd Richards is slated to announce the Redhawk football games, which will also be streamed on the OVC Digital Network.

Since the KFVS12.com WebCast premiered in September of 2007, the online video presentation has featured nearly 400 regional events including local high school and college football, basketball, baseball, soccer, gymnastics and volleyball events, along with softball, parades and ceremonies.

“After five seasons we've learned that the WebCast does not reduce attendance at the games,” said Paul Keener, Director of Marketing at KFVS12. “It does allow fans, friends, family and alumni that can't make it to the games to see events that they never would before, especially for fans who live away from the area. We'd also like to thank officials at Southeast Missouri State, the Ohio Valley Conference and all the high schools involved for their great cooperation.”

In an exclusive arrangement with Raycom Media, Inc., parent company of KFVS12 and 2080 Media, the station will stream full coverage, multi-camera events live at www.kfvs12.com. The content will also be archived for on-demand viewing following the end of event coverage. All WebCast content will be available free of charge.
