CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Former Southeast Missouri defensive tackle Ryan Taloa is working in Texas with Campus Outreach at the University of North Texas. Taloa was recently featured in the Southeast Missourian's Ministry Focus.

A native of Yorba Linda, Calif., Taloa played two seasons at Southeast after joining the Redhawks from Fullerton Community College. He registered 15 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, one sack and a fumble recovery in 17 games over the 2007 and 2008 seasons.

Taloa talked about what led him to work in the ministry and what opportunities he had to share his faith through football at Southeast.
