Southeast Closes Out Two-Game Homestand
Southeast Missouri (2-4, 1-2) closes out its two-game homestand when it plays host to UT Martin (5-2, 3-1) Saturday. Kickoff is set for 1 p.m., CT, at Missouri National Guard Field/Houck Stadium.

Tall Order
Southeast's two-game homestand consists of matchups against the top-two teams in the Ohio Valley Conference. The Redhawks fell to league-leading and No. 18 Tennessee State (Oct. 13), 40-28, at Houck Stadium. This week, second-place UT Martin comes to Cape Girardeau after posting wins in four of its last five games. The Skyhawks, who average 30.6 points per contest, scored a combined 117 points in their last two games alone. UT Martin is also currently one of four teams in the OVC with three league wins.

Series History
The Redhawks own a slight 14-13 advantage in their all-time series against UT Martin. The Skyhawks have won six of the last seven meetings between these teams. Each of the previous three games of this series were decided by no more than eight points. UT Martin defeated Southeast, 38-30, in Martin on Oct. 29, 2011.

It's Homecoming at Southeast
Southeast is 11-10 in games on Homecoming since moving to the NCAA Division I level. The Redhawks have posted wins in six of their last nine Homecoming matchups.

Did You Know . . .
Southeast has never lost to UT Martin on its Homecoming since it became an NCAA Division I affiliate? The Redhawks are 3-0 against the Skyhawks in such games. Southeast beat UT Martin, 24-17, the last time these teams met on the Redhawks Homecoming weekend. That game was played in front of a school record sellout crowd of 11,126 at Houck Stadium on Oct. 30, 2010. UT Martin also came to Cape Girardeau as part of the Homecoming festivities in 1992 and 2004.

2,000 All-Purpose Yards in Sight for Davis
Spencer Davis enters this week's game needing just 46 yards to amass 2,000 all-purpose yards in his career. Davis has 51 rushing yards, 106 receiving yards, four punt return yards and a team-high 406 kick return yards this season. He is averaging 94.5 all-purpose yards per game.
Davis has compiled 1,954 career all-purpose yards to date.

Redhawks Notch Season-Highs
The Redhawks racked up a season-high 510 yards of total offense against Tennessee State (Oct. 13). Southeast ran 73 plays and had an average gain of seven yards per play. The Redhawks 222 passing yards also marked a season-high, as Southeast finished with over 200 yards passing in a game for the first time since Nov. 5, 2011 (243, vs. Central Methodist).

Peiffer Surpasses 300 Career Tackles
Senior linebacker Blake Peiffer became only the seventh player in Southeast football history to get 300 tackles in a career when he turned in a game-high 14 against Tennessee State (Oct. 13). Peiffer registered seven solo tackles and assisted on seven other stops. He reached the mileston with his second tackle of the game when he dropped Trabis Ward on th first play of the Tigers third drive (first quarter). Peiffer now stands tied for sixth with 312 career tackles at Southeast. In addition, he leads the team, ranks second in the Ohio Valley Conference and seventh in the nation in tackles (70, 11.7 per game) through six games this season.

Lathrop Has Career Game
Redshirt-freshman quarterback Scott Lathrop rushed for over 100 yards and threw for over 200 yards in a game for the first time in his career against Tennessee State (Oct. 13). The native of Warrenton, Mo. ran for 145 yards and one touchdown and completed 17-of-26 passes for 222 yards and a TD in that game. Lathrop's 145 rushing yards were the third-most in a game by a Southeast quarterback.

Terrell Finds the End Zone     
Levi Terrell rushed for 110 yards and two touchdowns as one of two Redhawks who ran for over 100 yards against Tennessee State (Oct. 13). Terrell averaged 6.1 yards per carry on 18 rushes. He ran for over 100 yards for the third-straight game and scored his first touchdown of the season on an
8-yard run with 8:25 left to play in the third quarter. Terrell has finished with over 100 yards in four of six starts this season and a total of six times in his career.  He also ranks third in the Ohio Valley Conference in rushing (116.7) and rates fourth among the league's active players with six career 100-yard rushing performances.

Receivers Get Involved
Five different receivers caught a pass in a game for the fourth time this season vs. Tennessee State (Oct. 13). D.J. Foster, Paul McRoberts and Matt Bell each had five receptions to lead the way. McRoberts, a true freshman, entered that game with only one catch. He accumulated 66 receiving yards and made a highlight-reel catch in the back left corner of the end zone on an 8-yard pass from Scott Lathrop with 2:22 remaining in the fourth quarter. The last time Southeast had three receivers with five or more catches in a game was vs. Missouri State (Sept. 20, 2008).

Fourth Quarter Report
Southeast is scoring and giving up its most points this season in the fourth quarter. The Redhawks scored 51 points and gave up 68 points in the game's final period.
