Brock and Conrad Named to 2011 College Sporting News Preseason All-America Teams

Tylor Brock earned more preseason honors Wednesday
CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Southeast Missouri free safety Tylor Brock and offensive tackle Evan Conrad earned more preseason honors when they were named to the 2011 College Sporting News Preseason Football Championship Subdivision All-America Teams Wednesday.

Southeast was one of 15 programs with two players on this year's CSN Preseason All-America Teams.

Brock, who earned First-Team honors, led the Ohio Valley Conference with six interceptions last year, two of which he returned for touchdowns. He was one of eight First-Team All-OVC selections for the Redhawks in 2010.

Conrad, a Third-Team pick, blocked for the nation's No. 3 rushing offense and allowed only two sacks at his left tackle spot last season. He was also among Southeast's First-Team All-Conference honorees a year ago.

Brock and Conrad have been named to multiple Preseason All-America Teams in 2011.

This is the 10th year that the College Sporting News -- the longest active news service that covers the FCS exclusively -- has named a Preseason All-America Team.

In all, 58 FCS schools are represented by this year's preseason honors squad, while all 14 FCS conferences are on the list.

The Southern Conference topped all of the conferences with 17 selections, followed by the Colonial Athletic Association with 14, the Big Sky with 11 and the Big South and the Southland with 10 apiece.

College Sporting News will release its 10th annual postseason All-America team in the week following the NCAA Division I Football Championship game, scheduled for Jan. 7 in Frisco, TX.
