CAPE GIRARDEAU, Mo. - Southeast Missouri was ranked 16th in the Lindy's Magazine Football Championship Subdivision Preseason Top-25 Poll.

Southeast and Jacksonville State represented the Ohio Valley Conference. The Gamecocks came in at 11th. Lindy's Magazine, along with a number of other publications, release Top-25 polls throughout the preseason.

Appalachian State, defending FCS National Champion Eastern Washington, Georgia Southern, Delaware and Montana State made the top-five.

The Redhawks went 9-3, won their first-ever OVC title and advanced to the NCAA Playoff for the first time in 2010.
