Southeast Continues Three-Game Homestand
Southeast continues its three-game homestand against Jacksonville State this week. JSU, which was voted this year's Ohio Valley Conference preseason-favorite, fell out of a three-way tie for first in the league standings when it fell, 52-48, against Eastern Kentucky in Jacksonville, Ala., on Nov. 5.

Series History
Jacksonville State owns a 10-5 advantage in its overall series against Southeast. These teams hooked up in the Ohio Valley Conference title game last season, with the Gamecocks edging the Redhawks, 29-27, in Jacksonville. Southeast lost in the final 11 seconds of that game. The Redhawks are 1-4 all-time vs. the Gamecocks under head coach Tony Samuel. In addition, JSU has taken eight of the last nine meetings between these teams.

Home Cookin'
Southeast has posted wins in eight of its last nine games at Houck Stadium. The Redhawks went undefeated (5-0) at home in 2010 and is currently 3-1 in Cape Girardeau this year. Southeast's only loss at home during that span came against then-No. 17 Southern Illinois in this year's season-opener on Sept. 3.

Scheible Closes in on 7,000 Yards of Total Offense
Matt Scheible is closing in on 7,000 yards of total offense and 5,000 passing yards in his Southeast career. Scheible presently has 6,953 total yards and 4,672 passing yards. With 47 more yards, Scheible will become the first in school history to get 7,000 career yards of total offense.
