CAPE GIRARDEAU (September 12, 2003)-Both the Southeast Missouri State University men's and women's cross country teams will travel to Nashville, TN on Saturday to compete in the Commodore Invitational.

On Saturday the men's race will begin at 9:15a.m. The women's race will follow the men at 10:15 a.m. On Saturday the men's race will begin at 9:15a.m. The women's race will follow the men at 10:15 a.m.

"This will be a great opportunity to compete against schools in the OVC,said assistant cross country coach Eric Heins. "Right now we are still training through the beginning of the season but it will be a good race for both the men and women to see how we stand in the OVC.

Both the men's and women's teams will be competing against Tennessee State, Murray State, Morehead State, Tennessee-Martin and Tennessee Tech.

"This meet will feature more runners than at Missouri last weekend, said Heins. "There will be more excitement this weekend competing against teams in the OVC.
