Taryn Vanderpool was stellar in Southeast’s season debut, tying for the all-around title as the Redhawks defeated Lindenwood on Jan. 20. The Lenexa, Kan., native opened the meet by posting a 9.800 to win the uneven bars. That score was the best handed out for the entire meet. Her 38.525 all-around mark tied teammate Megan Fosnow for the all-around crown as Southeast’s season-opening score was over two points better than last year’s opener.
