Rachel Anderson, who hails from Edwardsville, Illinois, hit .750 (6-of-8) with six runs scored, two doubles, two triples, a home run and seven RBI to help the Redhawks win the Jackson State Tournament (Feb. 11-12). She had multiple hits in each of her first three starts and homered on the first pitch in her first at-bat of the season. Anderson recorded a 1.875 slugging percentage and a .750 on-base percentage for the weekend. Her efforts over the weekend earned her OVC Co-Player of the Week.Â
