Clay Chandler threw a complete game shutout of the SIUE Cougars in Saturday’s start. In his nine innings, Chandler struck out 11 batters and allowed just one walk. He scattered only four hits and his defense backed him up with an errorless game. In OVC play, he is holding hitters to a .192 batting average and is averaging 6.75 strikeouts to every one walk in league play. His performnace earned him his third OVC Pitcher of the Week and recognition as one of Louisville Slugger's National Players of the Week for the second time this season.
