Maddie Paulson recorded the game-winning goal in Sunday afternoon's contest against SIUE as SEMO soccer picked up their second win of the season in the Ohio Valley Conference. 

For her performance, Paulson was selected as the OVC Defender of the Week by the league's SIDs. 

Paulson also helped SEMO's defense record back-to-back scoreless games starting with Thursday's match against Lindenwood winning 2-0 and on Sunday against SIUE winning 1-0.

Paulson, the senior from Jackson, Wis. has started in all 11 games this season and has logged 948 mintues this season. She has one goal, six shots and three shots on goal.
