Hannah Eastman placed first in the women's 5K at the McKendree Bearcat Cross Country Classic on Sept. 23 as Southeast Missouri men’s and women’s cross country teams both finished first overall in the team competitions. For Eastman, it was her first career individual cross country title. Eastman crossed the 5K finish line in a PR time of 18:41.29 to lead the Redhawk women at the Classic. In two meets thus far this season, Eastman, a senior from Belleville, Illinois, has finished in the top-10 twice, set two career bests in the 5K and 4K, and scored twice for the SEMO women.
