Breanna Miles was named the 2022 Ohio Valley Conference Female Indoor Track & Field Freshman of the Year Feb. 24 after she broke the SEMO Indoor record for the 200 meters at the 2022 OVC Championship for Bronze. The Memphis, Tennessee, native, finished in 24.35 for third at the Championship which surpassed Torvia Bradley's mark of 26.44 set in 1994. Miles scored in four events for the Redhawk women at the 2022 OVC Championship. She was fourth in the 400 meters (56.28) and eighth in the 60-meter dash (7.93) to complement her Bronze in the 200 meters. Miles was also a member of the 4x400 meter relay team that finished in 3:53.27 (sixth).
