Romana Tarajova registered a doubles and singles win as Southeast Missouri women's tennis (10-4, 3-0 OVC) extended its win streak to six matches after it impeached the Austin Peay Governors, 5-2, at the Redhawks Tennis Complex on April 2. Tarajova and Kseniya Zonova bested Danielle Morris and Jana Leder, 6-2, to increase their win streak to four at the no. 1 doubles slot. Tarajova then improved to 9-3 in 2021 with her fifth consecutive singles win. Tarajova beat Fabienne Schmidt, the 2021 OVC Preseason Top Player and reigning OVC Player of the Week, 6-3, 3-6, 7-5 to seal the victory for SEMO.
