After missing the first week of the season due to mononucleosis, Rachel Rook went 2-0 with a 0.00 ERA at the Alabama State Stinger Classic to earn Ohio Valley Conference Pitcher of the Week. She tossed one complete game shutout in three appearances and two starts. She struck out 23 batters in 14 scoreless innings, including a career-high 13 against South Carolina State. She allowed just one walk and three hits over the 14.0 innings.
