Tara Beilsmith led the Southeast Missouri women’s volleyball team defensively with 45 digs as the Redhawks split its opening week of Ohio Valley Conference play. In her OVC debut against UT Martin, Beilsmith tallied 21 digs with a personal high seven assists. From the service line, she delivered three aces. On Saturday at Tennessee Tech, Beilsmith notched 24 digs along with four assists. In serve and receive, Beilsmith was perfect with no errors over the two matches. She finished the week with 11 assists.
