Anya Tonga was named the 2019 Ohio Valley Conference Indoor Female Field Athlete of the Year last week ahead of the 2019 OVC Indoor Track and Field Championship at the Birmingham Crossplex. At the Indoor Championship, Tonga won gold in the weight throw for the second straight season. She retained her weight throw title with a distance of 59-9.50 (18.22m).
