Tesia Thompson recorded her 16th double-digit point game this season, and 10th straight game in double-figures this past week. Thompson posted her sixth double-double (22 points, 10 rebounds) Thursday against SIUE. This was Thompson’s second game against the Cougars with 22 points this season. Thompson went 11-of-12 from the charity stripe against SIUE, which helped extend the Redhawk lead late in the fourth quarter. She also recorded 26 points on Saturday against Eastern Illinois.
