In the return to his home state, Columbia, South Carolina, native Alex Caldwell scored 14 points off the bench at The Citadel (Dec. 15). Caldwell shot 60 percent (6-of-10) from the field, drained a pair of 3-pointers and dished out a team-high three assists in 24 minutes. He scored seven points in the first six minutes he played. It marked Caldwell’s fifth double-digit scoring effort this year.
