Paul McRoberts gave Southeast Missouri a big spark early against #14 Eastern Kentucky. McRoberts had a career-high 10 catches for 93 yards and scored the Redhawks only touchdown in the first half alone. He jumped to make yet another outstanding reception in the back corner of the end zone on a 3-yard fade from Dante Vandeven to give Southeast a 7-0 lead with 5:34 left to play in the first quarter. McRoberts, who now has 26 receiving touchdowns in his career, tied Southeast’s all-time career record, joining Willie Ponder (2001-02) at the top of the list. In addition, McRoberts made his debut as a punt returner, running back three punts for 37 yards. His first career punt return went for 29 yards.
